New equipment for crude assays commissioned
The acquisition of the crude distillation unit is strategic for the projects defined within Q8Research. The crude assay is key to develop knowledge on the different crudes available on the market, especially low sulfur crudes, which can be used in the production of low sulfur marine fuel. Crude assays are very important for refineries. It enables them to select the most economical crude for processing in the refinery based on predicted yields and properties of the different fractions.
